What Chorby solves

Chore chart on one family iPad

Not every kid needs a phone for chores. Put the chart on a shared device. Chorby Hub is built for the kitchen-iPad / family-tablet setup so kids reopen the list where the household already gathers.

The problem

Plenty of families keep one iPad on the counter for timers, recipes, and — if the app allows it — chores. Apps that assume personal logins on personal devices leave younger kids out or force parents to hand over phones just to check off “feed the dog.”

A shared screen only works if switching kids is fast and the list is obvious from a few feet away. Parents hit this wall constantly: the chart lives in someone’s pocket, so the household never sees it.

What Chorby does

Chorby Hub is the shared-device face of Chorby:

  • Tablet view for a tablet that stays home.
  • Kids pick themselves, see their chores, and submit optional photo proof from that device when you require it.
  • Parents still approve from their own side — same optional proof → approve loop as the rest of the app.

You’re not maintaining six separate installs for six people. One hub device plus parent oversight. Pair it with the regular chore chart and chore list flow; allowance and rewards still attach after approval if you use them — allowance, rewards.

Who this is for

Households with one family iPad (or similar), mixed ages where only some kids have phones, or anyone who wants chores visible in a common space instead of buried in personal app drawers.

Honest limit

Hub works on iPad and Android tablets with Chorby installed. Parent access requires a subscription or trial. A shared tablet still needs power and a spot everyone can reach; use Guided Access on iPad or App pinning on Android to keep the board open.
